H.I.S.

In 1995 our military Air Force career took us to Incirlik AB, Turkey. While in prayer the Lord spoke to our hearts, It was then and there that "H.I.S."

(He Is Sovereign International Ministries) was birthed and established.

"Write it down, make it plain for the vision is for an appointed time, though it may tarry, wait for it for it will surely come." Hab 2:2, 3

How amazing to receive a word from God in the land where Christian history unfolded. How blessed we were to walk where Paul walked, to visit the first Christian church, the underground church, Ephesus, and so many other Christian historical sites. This was such a defining time in our life - the place that we experienced God, HIS power, HIS presence, HIS Sovereignty.

We understand now more than ever that the birthing, revelation and calling of HIS is more than our experiences and more than a ministry name.

"To equip the saints for the work of ministry…” has become our indelible heart mark. We respond in obedience. We have been prepared, equipped and empowered. We have been chosen and set apart for such a time as this.

We are H.I.S.

"The foundation of the LORD stands sure and is sealed with this inscription, The Sovereign Lord knows those that are H.I.S.

Our Mission

Our mission is to cultivate and strengthen life giving relationships with God through HIS word. We believe that by developing believers to skillfully study the word and use the tools available to enhance understanding and revelation of the Word, they will begin to live out James 1:22- "Be doers of the Word and not Hearers only." Acknowledging and yielding to the Sovereignty of God, we strive to model the love and character of Jesus Christ as we answer the divine call to train and equip the body of Christ for the work of ministry. Finally we seek to empower and inspire the children of God to take on the mantle of discipleship.
